The Minister for Health Robin Swann visits the participants of the My Home Life Leadership Support Programme
Minister Robin Swann attended the Celebration Day of participants of Cohort 10 which took place at the Dunadry Hotel, Antrim.
Minister Swann heard participants describe the impact that the My Home Life Programme had on them personally, as well the impact for residents, relatives and staff within their care home. Minister Swann was able to view resources developed by participants as part of their Quality Improvement initiative and he also issued participants with their Certificate of Completion.
Minister Robin Swann stated that “The transformation of our health and social care services is essential if we are to provide a modern and fit for purpose model of delivering health and social care. The My Home Life programme is helping to improve quality of life for residents, relatives, and staff by promoting voice, choice and control in their care homes”.
